Vampingo Productions presents a Climate Change Theatre Action Festival event, GLAMOUR & GRIT, hosted by the Dramatists Guild Foundation, for one night only, on Saturday, November 16th at 7:00 pm! As a part of the CCTA Festival, there will be a reading of the 10-minute play, 'Six Polar Bears fell out of the Sky This Morning' by New Zealand writer Alister Emerson, followed by a brief talk by Jennifer Hershey from the Broadway Green Alliance. We'll then have a staged reading of the new musical, 'Glamour & Grit' (condensed version), with book & lyrics by Ariana Johns and music by Darryl Curry, directed by Rachel Klein. 'Glamour and Grit' is a multi-media musical about a young witch on her 17th birthday, whose mother takes her into a dense, lush forest to connect to her magical roots.
